Bases Empty First Back Bunt Defense

With a batter who can hit to the left side with power, you may want to keep your 1st baseman and 2nd baseman back and have your pitcher field bunts on the right side of the infield. This defense can also be used if your 1st baseman has a hard covering bunts and you have an athletic pitcher. For this defense to be effective you must have a solid fielding athletic pitcher.
