Runners at 1st and 2nd – Base Hit to Center Field

Runners on 1st and 2nd. The batter hits a line drive to center field. The 1st baseman moves into the middle as the cutoff. Both the shortstop and 2nd baseman are positioned near 2nd base.

The 1st baseman relays to the 2nd baseman to hold the batter-runner at 1st. A play is attempted on the runner at 3rd, which allows the batter-runner to advance to 2nd.

The animation shows the shortstop trailing the ball into center field and the right fielder rotating toward 1st base.
